There are loads of possibilities for ongoing service with Latin Link, once a two-year Stride placement has been completed satisfactorily.

Guatemala City, Guatemala
Suzanne is Latin Link’s Short Term Mission Coordinator for Central America. She develops opportunities for Step teams and Striders with Christian organisations and churches, and tries to help Steppers and Striders get the most out of their experience of mission. Suzanne is also part of Latin Link’s International Core Team, with responsibility for short-term and multi-directional mission.

Apolo, Bolivia
Pete and Linda, with their children, work with Quechua-speaking communities in the Apolo area. They are involved in agricultural development and the support of small rural church congregations, including leadership development and discipleship.

San Francisco, Argentina
Hazel is developing a special education project with children in the rural district of Quebracho Herrado. Martin is visiting prisons and ex-prisoners, and doing Bible teaching.

Medellín, Colombia
Fiona Christie is in charge of curriculum development at Vive Kids, preparingresources for churches to use with the children at risk in their communities. She is also involved in Zero Estrés (‘Zero Stress’), a sewing project for women in a poor neighbourhood of Medellín.
She shares a thought about life in Colombia most days on her blog.

Lima, Peru
Sharon supports a church called Luz en la Roca (Light on the Rock) in a 'pueblo joven' (shanty town) in Lima. She helps run groups for children, young people and adults, does Bible teaching, one-to-one discipleship, and helps the church to meet some of the practical needs of the community around it.
