New Team Leader for Latin Link Britain and Ireland Introducing Neil Brighton We are delighted to announce that Neil Brighton has been appointed to follow Andrew Johnson as CEO of the Britain & Ireland team. Neil was the team leader and Senior Minister of Poynton Baptist for 11 years until 2017. Earlier, he had experience in business before training at Spurgeon’s College and serving in a church plant in Nottingham. More recently he has been working with BMS world mission based in Nauta in the Peruvian Amazon helping to redevelop a training course for Church and Community leaders from Amazonian river communities. Over the years Neil has also been involved in a number of Christian organisations as a trustee; with particular interest in finance, strategy and change. Neil is married to Lori, an accountant, and they have two university-aged children. Neil will start working with us from July and will take over the lead later after an overlap time with Andrew Johnson. We would be very grateful for your prayer support for Neil and the Latin Link staff team during this transition. Please pray that the Lord will help to build new relationships, to use their different gifts to strengthen the team, and to serve the churches and our Latin Link community effectively. Pray too for Andrew Johnson as he hands on his experience and responsibilities, and as he gets involved in his new ministry with Christians Against Poverty, in Oxford.
