50km Inca Trail expedition

I'm cycling the distance of Peru's famous Inca Trail, to raise money for a small community project in Quito, Ecuador, called ABIÑELA.

After four months in lockdown here in Spain, we're now able to go out and exercise, so I plan to cycle this distance around our neighbourhood.

ABIÑELA is struggling to re-open as the coronavirus lockdown is partially lifted in Quito. As people start to return to work and go about their daily lives ABIÑELA seeks to make a positive impact by providing pastoral support, advice, comfort, prayer and a word of Scripture. Usually, the project is funded through sales of coffee and other things, but this is almost impossible when people have little work or money. Therefore, the funds raised through this trek will help the project to keep going and keep blessing people.

Although I now live in Málaga alongside my husband Douglas (who leads the Latin Link Spain Team) I am originally from Ecuador and we spent many years serving there with Latin Link.

Can you help by sponsoring my trek?

Any amount you can afford will make a huge difference.

Thank you!

María Augusta Cowan
