Indoor ExpeditionsCould you take on an Indoor Expedition? About Ways to support Fundraise Fundraising Ideas Indoor Expeditions Go the extra mile to help fight coronavirus in Latin America Walk, run, or cycle the distance of a Latin American landmark to raise money for vulnerable Latin American communities affected by Covid-19. Gear up for an expedition at home, in your garden, or as part of your daily exercise. In a time of global pandemic, many Latin Link workers are out on the frontlines caring for the immediate needs of families and communities hit hard by coronavirus. The crucial work they're doing can only continue because of the donations Latin Link receives. By taking on an Indoor Expedition, you'll be raising money to help Latin Link workers support vulnerable communities across Latin America. £10 raised could cover the cost of an evening meal, breakfast, masks, cleaning materials and basic medicines for one homeless person in Guatemala city. £20 raised could supply a family of 5 with enough food to last 10 days. £60 raised could provide a migrant family with basic shelter and security for one month. Your small steps really can make a BIG impact! Up for the challenge? Follow these simple steps: 1. Choose your route: Walk, run or cycle the equivalent distance of one of these five Latin American routes, or create a route of your own. You can count steps around your house or garden, or track the distance travelled during your daily exercise. Click the images below to see what each route involves: 2. By taking on an Indoor Expedition, you’ll be raising money for projects in Latin America that are on the frontline, caring for the immediate needs of families and communities hit hard by coronavirus. Projects like AMI San Lucas in Guatemala, that are providing essential food parcels for families whose livelihoods are under threat because of national lockdowns and curfews. And projects across Colombia that are providing shelter to Venezuelan migrants who can no longer work and are faced with homelessness. The money you raise will be making a huge difference. Just £10 could cover the cost of an evening meal, breakfast, masks, cleaning materials and basic medicines for one homeless person in Guatemala city. £20 could supply a family of 5 with enough food to last 10 days. And £60 raised could provide a migrant family with basic shelter and security for one month. Just a small amount of money can change lives and restore hope.
